The 92 ft. Ketch rigged Tall Ship " Maybe " alongside the Quay tonight she was built in Holland and took part in the Historic First Tall Ships Race In 1956, this first race of the sail training Tall Ships took place from Torbay, UK to Lisbon, Portugal. The Tall Ship " Moyana " (with John Nicholls on board ) Won this Race but unfortunately sank while crossing the Bay of Biscay on the way home...........Robin Mawer
