This De Havilland DH 84 Dragon arrived with about twenty other private planes on Saturday and left again on Sunday. It is similar to the first plane to operate here from the Golf Course and a forerunner of the DH Dragon Rapide which BEA operated here for many years until the introduction of the Helicopter Service.....Robin Mawer

These give me bad memories of being dragged by my parents down tarmac at Newquay for a 'holiday treat' and my refusing to get on something that looked to be held together with wire back in early 50's.
