Wigeon

This afternoon I went to Porth Hellick to see these two Wigeon which had arrived today - the first of the year there for me ! A ew moments later all the birds flew off in alarm as, to my delight, a Ring-tail Harrier came through fast and low . I put the news out and it was seen soon after by other birders and I saw it again as it went over the pool again but much higher up !.....Robin Mawer
