This afternoon a very rare for Scilly ( particularly in December ) " Stone Curlew " was seen in flight by Will Scott and then located by Scott Reid in flower fields between Telegraph Road and High Lanes on Content Farm . It flew north and Will relocated it in the field at the start of the McFarland's Downs road where all of the local birders caught up with it .....Robin Mawer
