" OLD & NEW A very old photo of Porthcressa taken from where the Allotments are now, posted by Richard Pearce (probably a Gibson one) to compare with present day views. View A is as near as I could get to the original spot with any view at all and View B shows more of the view taken from more to the right of the spot. Most of the field in the OLD has eroded into the sea and what remains is now allotments! I can remember being able to drive a car out to the point beyond this field........Robin Mawer "
