The clouds cleared enough this evening to give some good views of the planets Jupiter (with its four moons) and Saturn apparelling very close together. This was the best I could do with my camera although I had a good view through my Scope. You can just make them out over Star Castle ! Last night ( also the Solstice ) they where in Conjunction and a bit closer together than tonight .Their Conjunction happens every 20 years but the last time they were visible in this proximity was about 800 years ago........Rob in Mawer
