Recently I came across this old Gibson postcard of cattle being landed on Samson from the wreck of the ship " Minnehah " on Seal Rock at the back of Bryher on April 19th. 1910. There were 64 passengers who were rescued in Gigs by from Bryher. There were hundreds of Cattle some of were landed on Samson. A lot of the cargo was salvaged and some weeks later the ship was re-floated.......Robin Mawer
