" OLD & NEW " A 1940's photo from Peter Gray showing the Radio Station by King Edwards Road which saw the first action in Scilly of WW 2 .It was later destroyed by the Germans. Here is a today photo from almost the same spot . ( It took a lot of lining up as the sand level in the New photo is much higher than in the Old one and trying to get the tide at the same level took three attempts . In think I should have been a bit to the right as well.) Not easy !!!......Robin Mawer
