An Avocet on the Bryher Pool this afternoon. This is a very rare bird for Scilly the last one being in 2008 on St. Martins. It had been seen a few times on St. Agnes recently and I missed seeing it there yesterday but I found out just in time to catch a boat to there at 12.30................Robin Mawer
