Today some of us went on a Birdwatching trip on " Swordfish I " with Steve Hicks. Among the birds we saw I got a photos of one of the two "Slavonian Grebes" near the Eastern Islands, a "Long-tailed Duck" close to Carn Near, Tresco and the two Spoonbills on Green Island by Samson. Other birds we saw included a flying Common Scoter, 10+ Great Northern Divers and about six Purple Sandpipers..........Robin Mawer
