A yacht has gone on the rocks in Sharks Pit ,( St. Mary's Harbour, ) this evening at or soon after high tide when it was almost dark after 9.00pm.The Lifeboat and Coastguards attended the scene but were unable to refloat the boat. ( photo taken at 9.25pm. )............Robin Mawer
