A " Lifer " for me today !!! This Mega rare male " Rock Thrush " was on St. Martins today at Per Pitch & Bread & Cheese Cove. It is the 5th. record for Scilly., the last being in 1996 before I started Birding. It was found yesterday evening at Little Arthur Farm and may have been spotted flying on Thursday by the finder when she arrived on the Island. These poor photos were taken through my 'Scope when it was 270 metres away !!! The 3rd. photo shows a " Wryneck " ( 1st. for the year ) which appeared on the left while we were watching the " Rock Thrush " !.......Robin Mawer
