At about 5.30pm Spider (Kris Webb) phoned and asked me to check Porth Hellick (on my way to go Seawatching with him for large Shearwaters) as he had seen a wader fly in over Deep Point which he thought might have been a Lesser Yellowlegs. I went to Porth Hellick and after a few minutes I spotted this medium sized wader with long yellow legs and a fine long bill. Bob Dawson joined me after a while and confirmed it to be an American " Lesser Yellowlegs " Well spotted Spider !!!........Robin Mawer
