  The St. Mary's Lifeboat launched at about 2pm. this afternoon to go to the aid of two people standed on the " Rags " sandbar at the entrance to Tresco Channel. There had been a very low Spring Tide which must have caught them out ! The Lifeboat launched their Y class dinghy to pick them up and safely retuned them to St. Mary's.........Robin Mawer
