Further to Robin's photo, here's another (unfortunately indistinct)
one, taken en route to St Agnes on a supper boat back in 2007. Humph
Wakefield told me about the inscriptions on Newman's Rock - he said
there were several initials on the rock with one reading 'AS' , which
he took to possibly be Augustus Smith. I suggested it stood for
'Astern' but they ran out of time to finish it before hitting the
rock....
