.

Some very welcome sunshine on St Mary's Harbour this morning

If you've ever wondered what the multi million pound platform in the
harbour is for .....it's an umbrella for the boatmen on a showery day.

The new war memorial in the park at Parade, with some unusual
undergrowth as a backdrop.

A fairly dramatic cloud this evening from Woolpack Battery, half way
through a lovely evening stroll

One from Wednesday evening - the barge and platform linked together to
transfer the 300 ton crane. I wonder if, together (as they are in this
photo), they are the longest vessel to ever be seen in the harbour on
St Mary's ?
