He\s right. It is a Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship. The high stern is actually a helicopter flight deck. Forward of the bridge you can see thee re-fuelling derricks for topping up a warships fuel tanks at sea. The class of ship is or is similar to the Rover Class. They are the lifeline to our Royal Navy, enabling them warships to remain at and operational for a long time. They civilian manned and there is at ;east one Scillonian man serving in them, John Perkins of St. Martins.
