.

Just for a change, pictures from Middle and Little Arthur, Eastern
Isles today, on a Community Archaeological Group visit to clear
undergrowth from Bronze Age Graves and enclosure walls.

Panorama from Middle Arthur. St Mary's to the left, St Martin's to the right

Sun, Sea and sand. A yacht on the sandbar stretching from the Eastern
Isles to St Martin's on a beautiful summers day - all the better as it
had been forecast rain

Messing about in a boat (or canoe), with a passing bird

Katharine Sawyer giving a short talk at the end of the work party,
explaining the finer details of a unique Bronze Age grave on Middle
Arthur.

A great day out, lots achieved and the history of this part of the
islands left in a better state than when we first arrived.
