Giant's Castle this evening on a dog walk, with an recent alien and
vivid intruder to the right. In the context of this ancient landscape,
I do have to wonder how and why the yellow post was put there -

Bikes galore, Old Quay, St Mary's. One of the joys of the islands, the
sheer number of bikes. As a very keen cyclist, it's nice to see them
used so much as a means of getting around

And what damage was done to construct the base? Was there any archeological assessment? Can it be removed/repositioned and this sensitive landscape restored?
