A "Lifer" for me today !!!. This "Mega Rare" Great Blue Heron from North America, only the second ever for Scilly and the UK, was seen by all the local birders in Old Town Bay this evening after initially being seen briefly in Lower Moors. I was in Fuerteventura watching a Booted Eagle when the first one was found in Scilly in 2007.....Robin Mawer
