One of my favourite views - the massive bulk of Peninnis with (from
left to right) The Chieftain, Tooth Rock and Pitt's Parlour. The
Chieftain seems to have various other local names. I had a superb walk
here with the late Frank Gibson who explained that his father and
grand-father were responsible for many of the names of rock features.
As he put it "it sold more postcards"
