St Mary's. 11th February 2014

Porthcressa Tourist Information Centre with its new look opaque
windows. Historically, the cottages at the Buzza end of Porthcressa
were known for their opaque windows, due to the sand being blown off
the beach. Seems we don't learn, do we ?

Waiting for the tide (and the wind to subside) - off Atlantic Slip, St Mary's

Ready for the next meal. Two starlings sat on the guttering at The
Parade. I'm the world's worst wildlife photographer so the chance of
two immobile birds needing ornithological weight watchers was too good
to miss...

The Deli - due to close in 3 weeks I hear. Shame; some fond memories
of good coffee and great company.

Sent from the edge of Dartmoor, now I'm back home. Thanks, as always,
for the warm welcome from all the islanders I met in my short stay -
back again in 5 weeks, thankfully !
