your window to the islands
I see it has a door bell and handles that old people use to get safely into the bath!
The National Maritime Museum is currently running an exhibition about lighthouses. Among the exhibits are a pair of 2-inch thick bronze doors removed from the Bishop light that were smashed in and unbelievably bent and buckled during a storm. Well worth a visit if you're in Falmouth.
if you look carefully you can see a date of 1887 below the fancy bit above the doors.
