Friday evening from Porthlow - my last sunset from here for a while !..............Robin Mawer

About 10.30am this morning this juvenile " Surf Scoter " came into Porthlow bay for a few minutes before flying off towards Bryher where it was seen later. First seen by Richard Aston then myself & Tony Gilbert & and soon after Kris Webb arrived & gave a positive ID.........Robin Mawer

A super posing " Long-eared Owl " at the Fruit Cage on St. Agnes this afternoon. When I heard at 12.35 that Martin Goodey had caught the 12.30 boat to Agnes I knew it must be showing well ( he very very rarely crosses the water for anything ). I got ready and got the 2.00pm ( last for the day ) boat and got there for long enough for great views before it moved virtually out of sight...........Robin Mawer

Early this morning the pontoons in the Harbour came a bit adrift from the Quay in the severe weather..............Robin Mawer

After a very mad rush to catch the boat to St. Agnes this morning, this was my FIRST view ever of a " Yellow-billed Cuckoo " !!! ( a Mega rare bird from North America ) which was found on St. Agnes this morning. Soon after I got much better views !......Robin Mawer
